Hi Priyanka,
for HR Renewal UIs, a new concept called "Dynamic Processing
Rules" has been made available with HR Renewal 2.0 FP1 and FP2.
Dynamic Processing Rules (short: DPRs) are
business rules which apply to the web-based applications for HR Professionals
in HR Renewal. They take effect when HR Professionals maintain a single
infotype or an infotype embedded in an HCM P&F process of type Roadmap
Form.
Business Benefits:
- Strong increase in Data Quality and
Legal / Audit Compliance - Clear user guidance through all
depending steps - Leverage automation options to relieve professional
users from manual inputs by setting background processing tasks (e.g. used to
set reminder dates for follow up tasks) - Rich configuration options for
customer- and country-specific rule sets with low configuration TCO - Some preconfigured content for
country versions as best practice templates
Functional overview:
- DPRs offer an easier configuration of rules,
triggers, conditions, consequences, in a simple customizing view - Enhanced handling of sequence number, default
values, assignment to country version - New: the Rule Manager provides a consistency
check as well as an activation switch for the rules - New: Overview with easy filter and search
mechanisms supporting customizing admins responsible for certain IT or certain
country version
Support for migrating “old” dynamic actions into “new”
dynamic processing rules is also being investigated currently.
